Located in a beautiful, established Fort Collins neighborhood this home was originally built in the 1970s. Before the renovation, the rooms felt disconnected and closed-in. We began by opening up the Kitchen to the Breakfast room and Living area. We opened up the stairs to the basement to create an open Entry area with a view focused on the Living area. For the Kitchen remodel, new wood cabinets, granite countertops, tile backsplash, and finishes were installed. In the Master suite, we combined the existing closet and bath to create a larger bath with laundry. The Master Bath renovation included a new custom walk-in shower, new wood cabinets, granite countertop, subway tiles with gray grout, new laundry area with front loading washer and dryer and a heated floor. A large closet was created by enclosing an existing, unused courtyard space.
The home now has an open, cottage feel with many special features. Using Universal Design standards we were able to create spaces that will be usable by the homeowners for years.
